Exau "Lina" Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Longtime Semolina customers know that we don't bring in a lot of Italian olive oils, not because we don't like them, but because traceability can be dubious at best. But not so with the extra virgin olive oils from Exau, a boutique family-owned grower/producer. Giuseppe Morisani's family has been growing olives in Calabria, on the Ionian Sea, for nearly 100 years, but only recently did he and his wife Skyler Mapes decide to bottle and sell them to the public. 

Exau's Lina is made entirely from Coratina olives and has a fruity, green banana and almond quality on the nose that carries onto the palate, with an almost tropical, peppery finish.
