Broken Spaghetti (7# Bag)
It's absolutely delicious! I have made three different ways and the taste and texture has been stellar. I also put some in bags for a few friends, along with the recipe you suggested, and they all LOVED it!
So I was expecting based on what was posted on IG that the noodles wouldn’t exactly be whole and that showed up just as expected. The part that I wasn’t necessarily expecting was that as the noodles boiled that they would continue to fall apart. By the time I had the noodles cooked to al dente I want to say the longest spaghetti noodle I had was maybe 1 1/2 inches. It’s going to be tough to find enough uses for these very broken noodles.
Hi Mark, I'm sorry you found the broken spaghetti hard to work with! It does say that it will break apart in the pot in the product description--that's part of what makes them flawed and why they're sold at such a discount. Regardless, some ideas to use them up: fideo, Ottolenghi's crispy spaghetti with chicken, our cacio e pepe spaghetti pie, chicken soup, zucchini soup...Feel free to email me if you need recipes or more suggestions. --Leah
Have not used the "broken" spaghetti yet. AS always we expect a superior product.
